HELP!!! Husband says he can see everything I do online? - Sophie - 06-15-2014 08:44 AM

My husband says he has a way of seeing every app I load and everything I go on online. Can he??
My daughter assures me he can't but I feel trapped and I can't talk to my friends.

I don't understand why your husband thinks like this ,and why you are afraid ? marriage must be depended on trust ! But generally ,if he likes to spy on you ,he can by many methods not just this ! the problem not in his saying the problem is his thinking ,and also in your fear !!!!!!!!!!!!

It is possible depending on how the cloud set up is on your phone and what if any spyware he has installed on the devices. But khaled brings up a good point. If there are these kind of issues between the two of you, the marriage really needs to be examined preferably with some professional help. Smile

If he has any kinda of screenshot or key logging software, nothing you do to clear your history files will help.

Off course he can, if he knows your passwords for what you use online
Change all your passwords and don't tell him

The old computers had something where ALL could go on as history. But only on that personal computer. It is possibly he is getting into the history.

He either wants to know your interest better OR he is just plane looking for a way to control! If he is a computer geek he is probably checking up on you.

I know a guy that was some how getting into the phone history of his wife phone. Even she did not know how to do it. He was very controlling. Even a wrong number set him off! He would drill her on WHO IT WAS!

Of course it's possible, but you can prevent it. Web browsers store a history of all the pages you've visited. You can see that by pressing Ctrl + H. Cmd + H if you're on a Mac. You can prevent this by clearing your history every time you close the browser or just use the browser's private mode. It's called "In Private Browsing" on IE, "Incognito Mode" on Chrome, and "Private Browsing" in Firefox. Using this mode will not save your history.

Two questions here: A, why doesn't he trust you? B, Why do you feel you need to hide what you're doing on-line from him?

There are tracking software packages that can be installed on computers to see what programs and stuff have been open.
