Question about incoming international calls!? - 178 - 06-15-2014 09:51 AM Hey guys. I was just wondering; if someone calls me from the USA (I am in the UK) and they have free long distance calls, will I get charged for taking the call? He can't use Skype because he's lost internet connection for a few days, so we thought we'd try it this way, but we want to be sure about costs first:3 Thanks in advance for any help!(: I'm on the mobile network GiffGaff and he's on one called Sprint if that helps. c: - Robert J - 06-15-2014 09:57 AM No, it does not cost you anything. You only get extra charges for incoming calls if you are 'roaming' - using a network other than the one you are registered with. However, international is different from long distance so the calls may not be included in your friends free call allowance. |
