I want to promote my business website on twitter . I want to use short url to tweet for my business site. How can i do that ?

Use bit.ly to create a shortened URL. Create an account and then create your shortened URL. If it gives you a random short URL you're not happy with, click the little pencil icon to edit it and use your own idea. With your account, you can return and see the use of your shortened URL.

I also use bitly.com
Both shows how many clicks you got from that URL you shortened. It's great for monitoring purposes.

If you want to make short URL for promoting your business then you can use plugin to make short URL. You also can use URL shortening services to make short UR. Nowadays there are many URL shortening website who provide great services to make short URL. I have made short URL for my blog using URL shortening services and it works great.
