I ordered a sims 3 base game for my pc. and I don't have an internet connection currently. so I was wondering whether this game needsinternet connection or not to install

You can play it without an internet connection. You just use the internet to update your game and to download custom contents. Maybe it's updated when you bought it from the store, so no need to use the internet.
