Can someone please explain to me how to make a facebook application? How will others see my application? I need as many users as possible to see it.

You have to add Facebook Developers before you can make applications.

Once your application is published, it will be viewable by everyone, but it is hard for anyone to see your application because there are thousands of other applications out there.
Most Facebook applications rely on invitations to spread. The first few people who will get your app will be your friends if you send it to them. So, design your application such that there is a way and there are incentives for your users to want to spread it to their friends.
Additionally, you can come on to Yahoo! Answers and answer questions and sneak in the URL of your application. Like this: http://apps.facebook.com/farm_wars
