Can I broadcast my internet connection through Ethernet port on my computer? - Hank M - 06-16-2014 04:27 PM

I have really slow internet via satellite. I also have a faster speed internet stick. Is there some way that i can plug my computer into my wireless router via Ethernet cable and have my internet stick in my computer at the same time making it broadcast the signal through the router sending a faster speed (Internet stick) internet connection to the other computers in my house? If so, how??

By Internet Stick do you mean mobile broadband service? If that's the case, then you should be able to turn on Internet Connection Sharing on that computer. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Using-ICS-Internet-Connection-Sharing

Connect it to your wireless router (via Ethernet) and make it the default gateway for the other devices on the LAN. You can either manually configure them all or change the value in the router's DHCP set-up.
