if a computer with a wireless connection is reformat the OS, the internet connection will be lost? - ALESANA - 06-17-2014 07:52 AM if a computer with a wireless connection is reformat the OS, the internet connection will be lost? - TNShooter83 - 06-17-2014 08:06 AM Yes. The wireless card needs drivers. Without these drivers, the card stops working. Reinstalling the OS will remove these drivers. Without the Driver CD or a copy of the driver available, you will lose your network/internet connection. - jamesm519 - 06-17-2014 08:16 AM YES!!! If you can save, or download your drivers to usb flash drive, or burn to cd, do that. - boen747 - 06-17-2014 08:31 AM Drivers for the wireless will be lost when formatting it, you would have to re-download the drivers or install them with a Disk before you could use it again. Hope This Helps! |
