Taken advantage of, scared, please help me.? - jamrs - 06-17-2014 09:50 AM

I was talking to someone on a chat room who wasn't someone who they said they were. They asked to FaceTime, and I agreed. This weirdo now has my phone number and I'm afraid of what might happen. What could he do with this info? I already blocked his number from my phone. Please help I feel very violated.

What can he do with this information?! What more can I do to prevent him?!

With only a phone number and name, he could track you down and find you. But, you know what they say, "Never give out personal info on the Internet". You could try and change your phone number so that he can't call or text you becuase you have a new phone number. To change your phone number, go to your carrier and ask to have your number changed. Once you get a new number, tell your friends that you changed numbers.
