I mean he has a very active Twitter, Instagram, Facebook account and now he recently made a Tumblr blog as well. Does he really like social networking like any other youngster?

yes. it allows him to express his thoughts/opinions/feelings without having his words twisted by the media. its also a great way for him to connect with fans and give back to them (noticing them/talking to them) to say thanks for the support. the fans got him there so he takes a lot of time to give back to them. social media allows him to do that easily
