Because I want to receive push notifications from him whenever he tweets and want to know if he will be notified if I favorite his account.

that is actually not called "favoriting" an account, but whatever.
if you chose to receive text notifications from twitter when he tweets then don't worry! it's 100% private and anonymous so he'll never know (tbh that's kinda creepy to think about ahah)
