How do you send an uploaded video to someone on FB? - Leah P - 06-19-2014 07:05 PM

It's my uncles birthday but he and I live about 12 hours away. Me, my mom(his sister), my grandma(his mom), my little sister(his niece), my cousin(his cousin), and 2 o my aunts recorded a video singing Happy Birthday. Now I want tosend it to him in a pirvate message on FB....I posted it in my videos at first but my mom was all "I just went swiimmig and I look bad. Take it down and send it to him in a message.." How??? Becuase it'll only let me send a video that I record ON FB using my webcam...10 points ferrr surrreeee!
You can't! If you click video it makes you record the video right then. The video is already in my file.
@Himanshu: I can't. My mom doesn't want everyone to see. Uuqqhhh!

If you haven't uploaded the video onto the internet, you have to do so first. It would definitely be better for your mother if you re-upload onto FB, but another place you can upload a video would be photobucket.com . Once you've uploaded the video (if it's not of FB), you must find the URL of the video, then copy it. Then you can send it to your uncle through these various ways:

1. Send a message: In your message, just paste the URL and then voila! Instant link to the wonderfully funny video. =P
2. Post on his wall: Also easy, just paste the URL as well in the message and then post!
3. Change status: If you want it to be directed to more than just your uncle, you could also just post the link on your status, and then everyone will be able to see it if they refresh their news feeds. Smile

Hope this helps!
