How to find followers on Twitter? - LettersFromLapland - 06-20-2014 04:54 AM
My business is aimed at parents of younger children. But the suggestions for who to follow are always for Celebrities and big business's. My business is handwritten and very authentic letters from Santa so I have a certain target audience to hit. I don't know how to find these people and get them to follow me?!

you shouldnt exactly be looking to follow people, you should look on how to get people to follow you! do everything you can to spread the information about your business! make a facebook page, or any social networking site that you think can connect you with consumers.
The best idea is to contact a person on twitter with lots of connections, maybe ask them to promo you on their own sites. Not a celebrity, but maybe find or even hire a representative whose job is social networking to help you spread your name.

On the twitter search type in things like '#parents, #parenting, #kids ect. It'll come up with people on twitter that have tweeted using the trend you searched for. If you're lucky, they will be your target audience.
On the other hand, you could try promoting your twitter a bit more, one simple ad stating 'Follow us on twitter @laplandletters3' and the audience your looking for should hopefully be interested in your business.
