Why Does This Keep Happening On Social Network Sites? - computernorcal - 06-20-2014 05:36 AM

OK this keeps happening to me on both Facebook and Instagram. I find a profile of someone that looks interesting and sometimes they have private profiles. So I request them and they accept me. And then on both Instagram and Facebook they will post either a super sexy revealing picture of themselves or sometimes not revealing but look super pretty in there picture. And I always make sure that I am both super polite and respectful as to what I say on the picture, but I want to compliment them. So I will say something like you look really pretty here or this is a really awesome picture of you here you look amazing or super pretty. And as soon as I do they immediately block me with no explanation nothing. Not just removed as a friend, but blocked! So what did I do so god awful horrible by complimenting the girl? I am at the point now where I am ready to delete all of my social networking profiles or not try to make or add anymore friends. So please help me. What is so creepy and god awful with complimenting a girl and telling her she's pretty? I'm not asking her to marry me and I'm not telling her I want sex or being gross and disgusting!

The fact that the first thing you do is comment on their looks make you sound creepy, in short, don't unless they ask for an opinion.

Because it makes them think you want something. Adding random people and then commenting on their looks will make them think ur a perv. Would be different if you knew them from before.
