She generally doesn't talk to me or acknowledge me. I mean, she's in a seminar class with me, and will respond to my blog postings for the class... I was giving a presentation a couple of days ago, and a couple of times I looked towards her and we made eye contact, and she quickly looked away. Could this be a hint that she likes me?

She is probably a people watcher. Befriend her on Facebook and ask her if she wants to go people watching with you at a mall.

i wouldn't read into this too much. try to be friends with her at first. not to the extent that she may friendzone you (keep your distance, don't do whatever she wants and be her lapdog, and so on), but be friends so you get to know her and then have a better grasp on her feelings. she's probably not gonna date you if she doesn't know you that well
