Firefox is best because this is the one area that Google Chrome falls short in. As of now the program cannot support any other browser. Firefox is compatible with all other browsers and is capable of supporting a lot more add-ons than Google Chrome supports. These are important for people who use the browser for more than just a simple search.

In terms of installing add-ons firefox is good because you can install useful tool bar which are required for SEO. Chrome is good as it is a faster browser and many people prefer chrome than firefox, so in terms of checking site resolution...chrome is a better option.

Being as a seo i would suggest you go for Firefox. Because Firefox works faster than Google chrome. Firefox even supports many ads-on.
