I want a good camera to take good pictures for like Instagram and personal uses, and have good recording quality.
My two choices are: Canon - PowerShot SX170 IS 16.0-Megapixel Digital Camera

Buying lenses for Canon - it depends on which type of camera
Bridge Cameras/Point and Shoot Cameras - No because the Lenses are attached. However their are some attachments that can be added, but they are practically useless.
SLR/DSLR - Yes > You can switch between lenses.

The quality of bridge cameras like the Canon can and is (from personal experience) very good! Canon has earned their reputation and you can't go wrong with Canon. I personally prefer the Canon Powrshot Sx50 IS but price wise this is an excellent price!
