The guy above me is trying to sale you some bs. One thing to keep in mind is good content and can your content sale? Is your niche to broad? Can you work on loads of good targeted long tail keywords that you can fit into your content. Do people go to your website and read and read and the time passes fast because they are mining your great info? The other big part of seo if who will link to your site. Go to google and do a search for 101 ways to build links. The other part is not seo at all. Most people are trying to get on the top page of google when what they need to also do is build a list. " The money is in the list." I'm sure you have heard it and it still rings true. I can send you a free report of how to get free traffic and how to use that free traffic to build your list. pocketeasy@gmail.com

If you want to learn cheap search engine optimization techniques, you can start reading SEO ebooks which offers a not-so-complicated to follow steps for newbies and not so techy people. I recommend that you get a copy of "SEO and Social Media Marketing Guide", authored by Tom Heatherington. I posted one of his blogs below for you to see.

Try SEOmoz.com, they can be a little technical so don't read everything. But they do have some great articles and posts.

As far as Google Webmaster Tools, what were you specifically looking to do? Try these two resources:

or here are some great videos:
