Typically just check when they created the profile and if their friends actually know eachother. This is not a perfect art but its the only real strategy. Could always ask Smile.

Cheers and Good Luck

Look at their Friends list. Real people have mostly friends of the same gender and from the same town. Fakes have mostly friends of the opposite sex and random people but nobody from their home town. A real girl is going to have mostly female friends. A fake girl will have mostly male friends, none from their home town and most not even in the same age range. So if she has a bunch of foreign and older men as friends and almost no female friends, then she's definitely not real

Look at their pictures. Real people are usually tagged in more pictures posted by their friends than they have posted of themselves. Fakes only post their own pictures and are never tagged in pictures posted by anyone else. Any real girl is going to be tagged in loads of pictures from parties, girls nights out, work, dinners, etc that her friends have posted. Fake profiles are never tagged in any pictures posted by friends. I've just checked loads of my friends - every one of them is tagged in more pictures posted by friends than they have posted pictures of themselves. One friend has 31 profile pictures she has posted of herself but is tagged in 119 pictures posted by her friends. Another has posted 8 pictures of herself but has been tagged in 203 pictures posted by her friends. It's the same with every friend of mine - they are all tagged in more pictures posted by their friends than they have posted of themselves

You can do this by the follow these steps...
1. Know why it is important to spot a fake account.
2. Don't talk to strangers.
3. Do a little detective work.
4. Read the profile carefully. Does what is being said add up or are there some really hard-to-believe statements being made?
5. Check out their profile picture.
6. Search their name online to see if it returns.
7. Check out their friends.
8. Block the request.
9. Create a "probationary period."
10. Beware interconnected faking.
11. Look for and record inconsistencies.
12. Do a double take if the person says anything weird or "out-of-character".
13. Be really wary of undying declarations of love, affection, and romance.
14. Unfriend them!

Use google photo search to see the origin of the photo, they might belong to several different profiles!!
