It seems I'm the only one that doesn't have an account on it. Do you guys just post pictures and wait for others to 'like' it. Do you get to chat and comment on people's posts like twitter?
Please let me know, if I think its interesting enough I might as well open one.
One more thing, will those on my yahoo mail know I'm on instagram? same way Linkedin sort of lets people know you now have an account? Because I don't want that. I'd like new friends really :/

Instagram is a really "fun" social network. Yes, you do post pictures and wait for people to like them. Basically, on Instagram, you post pictures and like other peoples. It's kind of hard to explain but it's like a mixture of twitter and Facebook because you get followers and follow people and like pictures and comment and you can post pictures
And no, they will not see your email. hope this helped

It's a social networking site that has established itself off the basis of uploading photos that are then liked by others, who in turn upload their own photos to be liked.
This cycle repeats to form Instagram.
