What is the best way for a piano teacher to advertise? - ellenoid - 06-22-2014 03:38 AM I frequent Craigslist and Facebook, and both options work relatively well. However, finding students to fill the early afternoon gaps has proven to be somewhat of a challenge, since most students are school-aged and seek after-school hours. Flier distribution is timely and not that effective. Can anyone recommend another idea that won't cost me anything? Thanks! - redcurleyz - 06-22-2014 03:39 AM Have you thought about giving a "credit" to those parents who refer someone to you? My nephew does piano lessons and his teacher was recommended to my sister by two different people. Just a thought. - captain - 06-22-2014 03:51 AM Make a parody youtube video - have your actor/actress for a free piano lesson - zero cost to you in money. Then upload it to youtube as a viral video offering your services. Then send the link to your local papers. |
