What's the difference between being friends and following someome? can followers see all your posts?

well, if you're friends, then generally u're able to see all of the pics, posts, updates etc of that person *unless they put u on restricted list*, following is a lot more reserved, as in, that person posts' etc will only be visible to u if he/she has made them public. Otherwise u'll probably only see limited stuff like a cover picture or profile pics, and sometimes not even profile pics if that person hasnt set them to public.
