Switch to cable broadband you will wonder why you waited so long trust me it may cost more but away go all the bullsh** and problems that you have with dialdragon.

Some companies offer "high speed" dial up - really an oxymoron. All the software does is cache your pages that you visit for faster loading.
Dial up is a lost cause to speed up. If broadband is not available have you considered satellite? Obviously more expensive - but it is the only alternative - unless there is wireless near you.

Google Web Accelerator will slightly speed up your Internet connection. even if it is designed for DSL.
You are probably paying about $10-$25/month for dial-up. you should check with your landline provider to see if you can get DSL. it costs about as little as dialup ($15-$25/month minimum). look in to it...

Check with your provider and see if there are more numbers that you can dial. Some times their modem shelf will get 100% loaded and you may be able to get better results on a different line.
