My Instagram is not letting me like photos or my own!? Why is it doing that?

If you are using a mobile device, you may need to update that app. If that doesn't work, try restarting your device. If that doesn't work try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. If you need to update, you should be able to go to your app store, and you would be prompted there to update the app. Good luck

It's the ASM (artistic sense monitor) on Instagram. This is a software algorithm which determines if a picture is any good or not. When it senses that it is on Instagram, it automatically sets itself to "all" mode, meaning that it (rightly) understands that there is nothing of any artistic value there. So it won't allow the liking of photos which are an affront to art, which is 99.9 percent of
Instagram is composed of.
You need to email Instagram and ask them how to disable it.

Your tastes are so bad that not even Instagram will allow you to "like" anything there. Try MySpace.
