The new timeline on facebook is TERRIBLE! DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT! I honestly dont like my posts showing up from 2 years ago, and people having easy access to it. Is there anyway I can delete years, or maybe block them so friends cant see them?

yes, you can hide or delete them, but not by year - you have to do them one by one
telling people not to get timeline wont do any good since everyone is getting switched over this week anyways
just use the little pencil icon for the things you want to hide or delete form your timeline
