I have the latest version of instagram for iphone, it will allow me to alter pics from my camera roll but wont allow me to take a new pic and alter it. i have tried deleting it and re downloading but it is still the same. what can i do.

Well I'm not sure how to fix it, but I do have a way around it. Just take a picture in the regular camera app. It normally isn't that big of a deal. Yeah, it may stink but at least there's a way around it!
