Can the average person make a facebook app? - Guy - 06-23-2014 02:53 PM

Average meaning knows how to use a computer and the internet. No special coding skills...
If not is it hard to learn what is required? Does it take long to learn?..........

Thanks to everyone especially to the guy who answered my last question a few minutes ago!

yeah definetly!

its really easy, you just have to write your name and email

and optionally write your interests, activities, etc.

as long as you can click your mouse, you can get one

As a web designer (not a developer) I would say it wouldnt be hard to create a landing page for your app, but actually making a functioning facebook app wouldnt be easy for a non-developer.

view the documentation at http://developers.facebook.com/

also worth noting that even developers struggle to make facebook apps because facebook change their code so regularly. its a bit of a fulltime job by the sounds of it if you want to keep it working.

could be lucrative - but its never a good idea to rely on a 3rd party such as facebook to provide you with a medium to make money. one day it become impossible for any number of reasons out of your control and you would be pennyless. on the other hand it could be gold rush so get in their now - who knows it may be 100 times bigger in a couple of years and even more lucrative.
