I'm looking for a simple add on that plays a sound when a download finishes for firefox (I have version 27.0.1). I tried the download status bar add on but it messed with how my files are scanned when they finish downloading and I wasn't happy with it. I just need something really simple and don't need any extra features. Any ideas?

Try this navigational sound add on, it claims to do that.

which download status bar did you use?
use https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/download-status-bar/?src=userprofile one
its really good.
as for scanning files... go into the options of the addon and change it :/
u are upset it didnt work the EXACT way YOU want it by default, and you are like, i shouldnt have to change things!?
it also allows you to customize a sound upon completion.
