Time Warner Cable blocking certain sites.? - Mike - 06-24-2014 10:44 PM
Ok, I have been trying to visit sites that I normally visit, the problem is that TWC blocks these sites by telling me to "Activate your modem" and redirecting me to activate it by providing my info. Is this a virus, or is TWC just hitting a new low ever since their merging with Comcast.
P.S. The redirects are called elb02.activatemymodem.com
P.S.S. I rather ask you guys this question than TWC "tech support".
P.S.S.S Sorry if I am being a bit unfair to TWC, just really irritated.

wow interesting I'd say it's a phishing scam and you need to clean your PC.

I got the same thing yesterday or the day before that and i don't know what to do?!?!?! Malware bytes doesn't even detect it neither does my virus protector so I'm out of options :/ if anyone knows please answer

My partner and i suggest applying http://www.vpnpower.net for you to unblock web-sites. I've been with them since four years.
