LinkedIn is a professional (bussiness) networking website/app, just like Facebook and Google+ but to be used professionally to promote yourself and connect with people in your work field to find a new job for example, or just to promote your skills and the services you can offer.
It has nothint to do with web browsers like Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Internet Explorer.
