Promoting online business through article marketing/blogs? - blackbird926 - 06-25-2014 03:49 AM

I am currently trying to promote an online business primarily through writing eZine articles. I am aware that it is possible to do this on other blog websites such as Squidoo, Wordpress, etc. To this end, I have two main questions:

1) Does putting your article on multiple sites (e.g. eZine, Squidoo and Wordpress) increase the chances of it coming up in the Google Search engine?

2) Or is it better to just focus on writing in one website e.g. eZine and get a reputation for good articles through the one website in that way while retaining the maximum possible appearances in the search engine?

The main reason I'm doing this is to get maximum exposure to my website through blogs, so any advice would be appreciated.

1. Putting your articles on multiple sites will only help if each of your articles are unique and even then they might not show up.

2. I think your better off creating a WordPress site and then submitting it to a press release site like http://prlog.org this service is free and will get exposure to your site.

I agree with putting unique articles on other sites, and with writing a press release for your business. Also find other bloggers targeting the same market as you are for guest blog posts and helpful comments. This way you get more from your own blog posts and a link back to your site.

Article writing/submission is really a great help to reach the people and make them be aware of your business. As for me, I would suggest that you continue producing unique, interesting and catchy article and also, add the article sites where you submit your articles for more chances of search engine optimization. I would also recommend that you put links on your article so that readers will have the opportunity to be redirected in your own business web page, since many article sites are allowing this.

Hey there

1) it definitely makes sense to put your article on different article sites, as you mentioned squidoo, wordpress, would also recommend hubpages, and of course the most famous article site ezinearticles. there are tons of other article sites, just google it.
All those pages give you good backlinks which makes your site showing up on search engines, and if they are written with good keywords it helps you to rank high... just be sure that you have unique articles, reword them before you publish them an other sites....

2) already answered with 1) I would go for different article sites, but as I mentioned, reword your articles to have them unique.

hope that helps

Personally, I use many Web 2.0 sites to promote my sites. But on Blogger I build more complete blogs. I also share some articles on the best article directories. And I always build links on the posts, as well.

Recently, I started to use forum marketing and it works fine.

I would stick with option number one. Putting articles as long as it's unique and catch up the reader attention can boost your site ranking in big.G as well as boost traffics directly into your websites. Platform like ezine, Squidoo, and Wordpress has million page view and subscribers, so there is plenty good reason why you should put your articles into these kind of platform.

If you are running an online based business, you could try another promotion methods beside article marketing. You could try web 2.0, directory listing on local directory business, email marketing, and the most important is social media marketing.

I would highly suggest Social Media as a platform to expand your marketing plans, social media like Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest, otherhand can be used as a place to interact directly with your customers and establish relationship and trust proven as a good methods to boost your sales/business.
