I only have access to m.facebook.com or facebook for android and id like to update my profile how? There's no edit button in sight

Go to m.facebook.com, then go to 'Timeline', next click the Edit Profile and you'll be directed to the edit page, next to edit, click on the profile field labels and then you edit then save.
