i havent seen any ads anywhere on orkut ,no sponsored links, no pop-ups nothing....so how does orkut make profit and why dosent it put ads on da site inspite of it enormous succes as compared to facebook,myspace n other social sites?

They have third party affiliates who advertise off-site for them.
