what do i do about me and my crush? its odd because hes older? - Emily - 11-09-2012 08:50 AM

Me and this boy have know each other for a while now and i really like him, he used to go to my swimming club but now he has quit, we never really spoke, only in a group and we had a laugh together but never on our own. One day after swimming all 20 of us went for a walk in the fields (it was really dark) i was scared so he held my hand the whole time, know one knew though. After he quit i added him on facebook and messaged him, he didn't know who i was but then remembered, he said he is too busy to come swimming so now i don't see him. (this was about a month ago)

Last night i went swimming(at a different club) and he turned up to be the lifeguard, it was really odd because i cant talk to him because im swimming but he kept looking at me as if he knew me, i really like him and his sister told me he used to like me but now i don't know what to do, should i say hi? ignore him? just forget about him (kind of hard when im gonna see him every week)? also he is in 6th form and im in yr10, that is the bad thing

any advice? no hate pleasee! Smile

i think you should talk to him, just like start with friendly conversation, ask him how he's been and stuff.
Y10 and sixth form isn't bad, but is he in upper sixth form? Either way 3 years is alright, I'd say go for it. Just don't throw yourself at him or make it really obvious.

f*ck his brains out! He'll soon realise you like him.

say hi at a convenient time (not while swimming) then leave it up to him.

Go for it, go up to him and start up a conversation and if it runs out he doesn't like you , you can have a friend and maybe he will begin to like you more and more as you know each other.

I think there's nothing wrong with liking somebody much older than you. If you see him you should smile at him and then say hi. Ask him how he's been. Don't try and make things awkward between you because this could change everything. Message and text him a lot to stay in touch. Hope everything works out for you. Smile

He is not that much older. Just say hello, you never know conversation may follow.
