You can't. Once you've switched to Timeline, FB won't let you unswitch.

'Time Line' is not a feature of facebook as many would have you believe. It's an updated look and feel of the very core of facebook. There is no way to turn it off. Anyone (website/extension, ect) that boasts to be able to turn off, or remove facebook timeline is lying. Plain and simple.

TL;DR Time line is here to stay, and you cannot remove it.

did you look at the date those videos were made? there used to be a way to trick your browser, but it doesnt work anymore

there is no way to remove it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook, not an optional update - they are now forcibly converting everyone slowly without your consent

this guide will help you learn how to use it

Its not possible to completely remove Timeline, but you can easily go back to viewing the old style single column layout format, you just need to follow this simple guide:

This method is safe and it really works, you can tell this because it has over 63,680 "likes" on the page, and hundreds of positive comments from people who have got it to work.

FB Purity has also been reviewed and highly rated in The Washington Post, CNET, Lifehacker and PCWorld
