My laptop deleted all my files and start menu icon even delted everything on my desktop except internetexplore? - Life Questions - 10-01-2012 07:27 AM
This is part 2 of my question. I restarted my laptop and relogged into my windows laptop account and it just showed internet explorer and recylcle bin on my desktop.I clicked Recycle and there was nothing in the bin.I clicked explorer and it didnt load after 2 mins.The screen went blue and said in white letters theres a problem with your -- I couldnt read it all as the laptop shut off in 3 seconds.Then restarted back up.Idk whats wrong!I was just on twitter and my laptop just stopped working and deleted everything!i havent download anything either..please help.

its all still there
you have MALWARE
go get MALWAREBYTES and clean the pc
to SEE your stuff again you need to UNHIDE it.
you do this by SHOWING HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS
and then finding your stuff, right click and choose properties
then untick the HIDDEN attribute.
of course the malware may hide it again.

i suggest u re-format the PC and install windows again
