Facebook does this occasionally. Wait about half an hour or an hour, delete your browsing histories, and try to go back on. It does that to me on Chrome a lot, and Firefox. (:

it's not your computer i think it seems a lot of people are having trouble with Facebook, the US servers might be down (seems I'm lucky i live in belgium

A lot of people can't open Facebook right now. I'm using PC with 2 types of browsers. It's the site it's down for a lot of people.
BTW not just US I live in EU. But I read that not entire EU users can't reach it. But it looks almost Global. Defiantly nothing to do with your Browser or OS.
