because of active x drivers mainly, is why we re - installed, plus kept freezing. It has xp on it and is driving us MAD ! Please help!

Many apps on Facebook use third party web programs such as adobe flash or java. If you haven't installed flash here is a link for download http://www.java.com/en/
Both are trusted links/developers and are commonly used in web design and development. Also, make sure you are updated to the latest release of Internet Explorer/Firefox/Google Chrome/whatever web browser you use.
