I added someone on Facebook and they accepted it, and a couple months later I searched their name and nothing came up. Later I saw their name in a group we're both in and clicked on it. If they unfriended me, would I still be able to see their profile? Or did they delete their old one and make a new one? Why didn't their name come up when I searched them? (It still doesn't come up when I search them now). Also I still have the option to friend them, but I'm not sure if that matters
But if they blocked me why can I still see their profile? All I have to do is find a link somewhere else. I could go to that same group right now and see their profile.

I think someone blocked you. I did the same to some annoying kid I didn't even know who's constantly asking for me to be her friend. Blocked her and it said she would never be able to see me on Facebook ever again.
Either that or they deleted their account or something.

the other person is wrong... if you were blocked, you wouldnt even be able to see their profile in the group
just because someone removed you as a friend doesnt mean you cant still see their profile, but you will see the public version of the profile instead of the friends version of the profile - it all depends on how the person has their profile set up
the reason they didnt show up in search is because they just made their profile unsearchable, which a lot of people are doing recently due to the hoax/scare of colleges and employers being able to see everything you do

Some people have privacy settings where you can't even see them at all. If you can't find the person, the person probably blocked you. If they unfriended you, you can see still there profile but thats it unless the person does not have privacy settings.

If they unfriended you, you can still see their profile. If they blocked you, you cannot see anything related to them at all.

Since the person has blocked you, you couldn't see his/her facebook page until its public.

Either they deactivated their account and created another one that doesn't have you added.
Or
They deleted you. You can only see what they allowed everybody to see. If they unfriended you, you no longer have permission to see what's on their wall.
Edit: The people who are saying "they block you" are wrong. If you were blocked you wouldn't be able to pull up their page AND have the option to add them like you said you did. So no, you are NOT blocked. Their name didn't show up because they either aren't on your friend list anymore or privately setting. It's most likey they deleted you.
