I have a friend who I want to see if someone is in her friends list, but her list is hidden. I don't want to make it obvious that I'm being a creeper, so is there any other way besides asking?

just go to the person's profile who you are wondering if your friend is facebook friends with and see if you have any mutual friends.

If some one hides their list that means they don't want anyone to see who's on their list. If you really want to know why don't you ask your friend.

no, they have it hidden for a reason. I had to hide my friends list because I have one male friend who went thru all my friends and added the hot ones. If he found out they were married, he'd delete them. So one day I asked him, "how much pussey do you need man?" but I digress......
