is going on someone elses facebook page against their wishes an invasion of privacy? - Joshua - 11-09-2012 09:06 AM

this is more of an opinion question i just want to know what other people think

and this also goes for tumblr, twitter, any only 'blogs', they are not private and anyone, can look at them. but the owner has expressed that they dont want my friend to look at the page. is it an invasion of privacy? something that is private is kept with in themselves and possibibly confided in a select few. but is it really private if everyone, but one person can know?

If a person deliberately looks at something that they know someone doesn't want them to see, that's just being nosy. The person has put their info for the whole world to see so they gave up their privacy...period. They can't gripe about who they don't want to see their page. They can make it private or shut up. It sounds like they're 5 years old. They need to just get over it and keep it public, make it private, or take it down. There is no room for whining anywhere.

Haha, no. If they're posting things online, they need to realise what that means. The internet is public and it is free for everyone to use. If they don't want someone to see it, they shouldn't have put it on the internet.

If they post it on the internet, then why not look at it?
