Follow people who havent got a lot of followers, they tend to follow you back. Make yourself seen. Write on peoples profile. Tell people to follow you on twitter by posting it on Facebook, myspace..etc.

Hash tagging is a good way to get yourself outthere. Also follow certain people who could help you get of there maybe in hour case more to the fitness help tweeters. Post up some YouTube vids, get active on body care forums like simply shredded or something. Well your aim shouldn't be to get many followers but followers who need and want your advice (: kudos and have fun tweeting!

dig deep... find the followers of your competition and start following them, if they are in your industry they will be quality followers and if you give back with loads of value you are sure to produce some sweet traffic to your site.
