some of my friends are in this private or 'closed' group on facebook that was created a few months ago. i was just gonna click 'ask to join' but i dont wanna seem like a dork or a weirdo, lol is there a way to view the content on ca closed facebook group?

It's called a 'Private' group for a reason. Although I don't doubt there's a method.
