A Swedish friend commented "turturduva" on my photo on Facebook. I googled it and it says its a turtled dove...but he says that's not what it means! He won't tell me!! What does it mean? He always teases me >_<
okay, but what's a tartar?
ohhh okay...but that doesn't make sense?

"Turtur" is a racial slur used against the Tartar people in Russia, so he said "Tartar's suck"

Turturduva is a turtle dove, and in Sweden as well as many other places, it's a love symbol. Either he means that you're sweet looking, lovable or in love. Take it as a compliment.
