When you comment on a facebook friend's stat or post on their wall do your other facebook friends and real friends see it even if they aren't facebook friend's with the same person?

yes, it gets listen on your profile as "recent activitys"

if the person whose profile you commented on allows non-friends to see their wall, then yes, anyone will be able to see it. if they only show their wall to their friends, it will say that you commented on that person's status on your recent activity but people won't be able to see the actual comment.
