Which is best for advertising my work at home biz, Facebook Ads or Google Ads? - Aletheia*Truth*Seeker - 11-09-2012 09:19 AM

I did a trial run on Facebook for a couple days, and it yield absolutely no real leads. I'd like to think maybe Google Adwords is better, but maybe they're both a waste of time. Let me know what you think!

Thanks!
If it helps to know, this is the lead page for my business they'll go to when they click:

Google Adwords can become expensive but honestly its the best way to go. Its the number 1 search engine in the world and its where I get most of my business from.

You are not advertising a home business. You are advertising an opportunity. That will usually produce very low results when directly advertised. Anywhere.

For that kind of promotion, you should switch to attraction marketing. That is, in broad terms, setting yourself up as an expert and letting others come to you (seeing you are an authority).

There are many ways you can do that, and using Facebook is one of them. You could (and should) also start your own blog. Create a presence on the Internet and provide value for people. That way you will be noticed and people will see you as an expert.

can't really give you full details in a short answer... You need to explore this more, and there are plenty of resources out there (just be careful picking the one you follow).
