Recently i made my profile a timeline on Facebook, and before i did that, i had 1,167 friends. Now that i activated timeline i lost friends and went down to 991. I'm just curious about this, cuz it was weird to me.

no, getting timeline doesnt delete friends... but lots of accounts are getting locked and suspended for people breaking the rules like lying about their age or name, or creating more than one account, and that's what is affecting your irrelevant friend count
