I uploaded some pictures to a private folder for a friend and then it showed up on my timeline. Can everyone see that or only people who can see the private folder?

you can set it up in the settings to who can see it only

Only you and your friend will be able to see it . If you ever need to make sure, up on the bottom left corner of the cover photo , there is are buttons "update activity" and "activity log"
Next to it is a little circle thing and click on it and you will see "see as". You can put in anyones name to see if it's visible to them
