Sadly, that's just the way it is. You have to go one by oneeeeee. That's why I put all my photos in one album. Less effort and when people like my album, looks like I know a ton of people.

not for pictures in the profile photos album, no, but you can do it for past posts using the "limit past posts" function on the privacy page
