If I am searching a person I am not friends with, and I suddenly notice the profile changed to timeline, does that mean the person checks his facebook page? You can't tell if the person checks out their facebook regularly. Or does facebook automatically changes it for you?

Yeah it switches you automatically it's not optional

Yes its automatic now. In start people don't like it but its much interesting and much better than old profile.
