Alright, suppose you are on facebook, you want to change your profile picture, but you wait for someone to go offline before you do so.
Once they are offline, you change it.

Well it's crazy but I think they changed it when the person went offline in the hopes that this person will not see it out of fear of being criticized, it does not make a difference if you are always checking the profile but it's just a safe tactic, however I think this person might just be paranoid and over thinking a few things
